Update 30th April - Anticheat?

Hello,

I hear that there will be a update on QL this Monday 30 April, also in the #quakelive channel the developers spoke about anticheat not reflexed in the changelog.

They spoke about the anticheat already installed and monitoring all the people that uses it and that this Monday after activation all the accounts will be banned.

Do you know something about this guys?

I did....I tried loading, nothing works. Plugin crashes EVERY time

there was no anticheat in the update, the cheat just doesnt work due to the plugin and game update.
Although anticheat has been rumored, it isnt a priority for them, its being developed slowly, so i doubt it will even get released.

I won't base myself on rumors. I'll probably walk through the modules carefully in order to find anything that leads to a possible anti-cheat. I will probably apply some protection code too, you never know.

i wouldnt really say its rumored, wrong choice of words really.

they have stated before that an anticheat is in the works, but its being developed by one guy, and their own anticheat, which they also stated its not a priority as PB caused more issues than it solved for the game.

but when its done, it will no doubt be ninja patched into the game to catch a few people out.

Altough, I didn't really find anything. Does any of you guys have alts? People seem to get banned for alts too.

I got alt working but arent gonna to hax around on there, too risky to lose "famous fake alt"
